Abundance of Grace
Abundance of Grace

Your Devotional message for 15th August 2021

Scripture:
For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).
Explanation:
In today, day 15 of 31 days of the Daily Meditation, on this series of the Grace and Mercy of God we will explore the essence of abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness, which will make you reign in life. The purpose of this series is ushering us to a deeper study on the knowledge of God’s Grace and Mercy. We will examine the life of a person who has received abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness for reigning in life through the One, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on the importance of abundance:
Grace to reign in life: Areas of life may include success, prosperity, marriage, riches and peace.
For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ (Romans 5:17).
Abundance for every good work:
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8).
Grace for riches:
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9).
Grace was given according to the measure of gift:
But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore, He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men” (Ephesians 4:7-8).
Of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power Ephesians 3:7).
The purpose of the gifts is for the edification of the church:
Even so you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, let it be for the edification of the church that you seek to excel (1 Corinthians 13:2).
Finally, you must grow in the grace by the Word of God:
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Then you need the grace of God as a gift of His divine ability to work things out for you. “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16).
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of August 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘The Grace and Mercy of God’
Faith Confession for Grace and Power:
Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
Further Reading scriptures to meditate:
Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands (2 Timothy 1:6).
