“Oh, how Esau shall be searched out! How his hidden treasures shall be sought after!” (Obadiah 1:6)
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 20 of 31 days of the month of October, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Revealed Mystery of God’’ – The mystery of treasures.
One of those hidden things kept as the secret things from men is the mystery of treasures of God which can only be revealed by His Spirit for those who seek the Lord for them. In Christ Jesus are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3).
Let us examine the prophecy of Obadiah: “Oh, how Esau shall be searched out! How his hidden treasures shall be sought after!” (Obadiah 1:6). “Thus says the Lord to His anointed,
To Cyrus, whose right hand I have held— to subdue nations before him and loose the armour of kings, to open before him the double doors, so that the gates will not be shut:
‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name,
Am the God of Israel (Isaiah 45:1-3).
I pray with you that in this month you will discover your hidden treasures. I pray that grace and revelation power of God and His breakthrough shall locate you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ spoke about laying up treasures in Heaven:
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:19-21).
I pray with you today, may you experience a supernatural manifestation of healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
