In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway, there is no death (Proverbs 12:28).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 7 of the 31 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The great promises of God’ – By the force of Righteousness.
The importance of force of righteousness in the life of a believer cannot be underestimated. In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway, there is no death (Proverbs 12:28). Righteousness is a gift of God that count you acceptable before the face of God. Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me and hear my prayer (Psalm 4:1).
But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference (Romans 3:21-22).
Example of Abraham:
For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness” (Romans 4:3).
The Bible contains many exceedingly great promises of God. As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:3-4).
