Explanation:
In today, day 28 of 31 days of our Daily Meditation, on the series of the Grace and Mercy of God we will explore our understanding of His righteousness and mercy in combination.
The purpose of this series is ushering you to a deeper study on the knowledge of God’s Grace and Mercy. Let us examine the scriptures of the benefits of the combined attributes of God of mercy and truth. The force of Righteousness and mercy
of God would. He who follows righteousness and mercy Finds life, righteousness, and honour (Proverbs 21:21).
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on the dual attributes of mercy and truth:
Break up your fallow ground:
Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you (Hosea 10:12).
His great kindness of mercy and truth to David:
And Solomon said: “You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day (1 Kings 3:6).
Relieve in distress:
Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Have mercy on me and hear my prayer (Psalm 4:1)
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children’s children (Psalm 103:17).
What is the conclusion about mercy and truth?
Let not mercy and truth forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart (Proverbs 3:3).
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Ask God to show His mercy on you. Show us Your mercy, Lord, and grant us Your salvation (Psalm 85:7). He can deliver you from every issue of life where there seems no solution. Great deliverance He gives to His king, and shows mercy to His anointed, To David and his descendants forevermore (Psalm 18:50).
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of September 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘The favour of God’
Faith Confession for Grace and Power:
Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
