Your Devotional message for 26th August 2021
Scripture:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3).
Explanation:
In today, day 26 of 31 days of our Daily Meditation, on the series of the Grace and Mercy of God we will explore our understanding of His abundant mercy.
The purpose of this series is ushering you to a deeper study on the knowledge of God’s Grace and Mercy. Recently, a gentleman asked me that ‘why are there evil in a lot of places nowadays? I appreciated him as he was observant to recognise that goodness and evil exist and occur daily. Evil and wickedness are works of Satan and his cohort of darkness. Do not be deceived to think that goodness and evil happen randomly! In the world today, many people did not realise that Life is spiritual under the control of God or influence of Satan and his evil spirits. As a child of God in Christ Jesus, interestingly, God expects you to come boldly to the throne of grace and obtain mercy in time of need. In respective of gravity of the evil or wickedness, that you experience, you can cry out, Lord have mercy on me; avenge me speedily from the hand of the wicked by the blood of Jesus Christ!
His abundant mercy:
As the scriptures says: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3). His abundant mercy is available by faith in Christ Jesus. By His abundant mercy, God can change your impossible situation. Arise and make declaration of what God has spoken.

His great mercy:
Nevertheless, in Your great mercy You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them; For You are God, gracious and merciful (Nehemiah 9:31).
O Lord, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let Your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.” For I was the king’s cupbearer (Nehemiah 1:11).
My prayer for you as you read this today is that:
Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you (Jude 1:2).
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Ask God to show His mercy on you. Show us Your mercy, Lord, and grant us Your salvation (Psalm 85:7). He can deliver you from every issue of life where there seems no solution. Great deliverance He gives to His king, and shows mercy to His anointed, To David and his descendants forevermore (Psalm 18:50).
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.

Faith Confession for Grace and Power:
Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
