Your Devotional message for 3rd September 2021
Scripture:
And the child Samuel grew in stature, and in favour both with the Lord and men (1 Samuel 2:26).
Explanation:
In today, day 3 of the 30 days of our Daily Meditation, we will explore the favour of God for His saints. The purpose of this series is ushering you to a deeper study on the knowledge of God’s favour. The favour of God is a driver to a successful living. We must obtain favour in the sight of God by faith. The Spirit of the Lord – Holy Spirit lives in you as a righteous and shows His divine kindness, or an act of true compassion on the part of God Himself toward your needs even when you do not deserve to be favoured.
Here are a few of the other scriptures expounding on finding favour in the sight of God:
Samuel: And the child Samuel grew in stature, and in favour both with the Lord and men (1 Samuel 2:26). The favour of God was upon Samuel and many more in the scriptures.
Joseph: But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
Daniel: Now God had brought Daniel into the favour and goodwill of the chief of the eunuchs (Daniel 1:9).
Are you facing temptation or challenges of life and has been told there is no solution?
Ask God to show His favour on you and before men.
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today and repent from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.

And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
