Your Devotional message for 9th July 2021
Scripture:
And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid (Luke 2:9).
Explanation:
In our day 9 of 31 days of the Daily Meditation on the theme basking in the Glory of God, we will look further at the Angel and the glory. The Angels of the Lord are spirits. And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire” (Hebrews 1:7).
Angels are real and not readily visible to our natural eyes. My awareness of Angelic Ministry begins to increase as my knowledge and awareness in the Angelic Ministration increases. Knowledge is powerful. It is much preferable not to be ignorant of certain things in life. Such is the roles of angelic ministration to the believers. The are meant to minister to believers as Helpers sent by God. Learn to ask God to send His Angels to assist you for supernatural manifestation.
Who are the Angels?
Angels are God’s creation:
And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.”(Hebrews 1:7).
Angels are God’s Ministering Spirits:
Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation? (Hebrews 1:14). After temptation of Jesus Christ by the Devil angels came to ministered to Him. Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him (Matthew 4:11).
Angels heed the voice of His Word:
Bless the Lord, you His angels, who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word. Bless the Lord, all you His hosts, you minister of His, who do His pleasure (Psalms 103:20-21).
Angels may appear like strangers:
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels (Hebrews 13:2).
Let us examine examples of scenarios for Angelic ministration in the scripture:
Daniel’s case: The stories of Daniel while he was mourning three full weeks praying and fasting (Daniel 10). In verse 8, suddenly he saw a vision when an Angel appeared – Therefore I was left alone when I saw this great vision, and no strength remained in me; for my vigor was turned to frailty in me, and I retained no strength. Michael the Angel appeared to him to deliver him from the Prince of the Kingdom of Persia withstood him for twenty-one days.
The case of Peter: When Herod the King planned to kill Peter after he had killed James the brother of John with the sword. An Angel appeared in the Prison and stood by Peter and his chains fell off his hands and lead him out of the prison (Acts 12).
The Bible contains over 500 episodes of the Angelic Ministrations.
Say I am a carrier of the glory of God. Study and meditate on the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit often. Expect and ask God to manifest His Glory and the Angelic ministration.

Faith Confession for Power:
Thank you, Lord for the Spirit of the Lord is at work in me. Let the sight of the glory of the Lord be as a consuming fire around my life that make my adversaries to flee.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will not be with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority and power to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me. Therefore, I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I operate in the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth like Fire and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the power and the glory of God.
I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Prosperity and success are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
