Your Devotional message for 8th April, 2023.
Scripture:
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 08 of the 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Love of God’ – Christ’s Redemption
In the Old Testament, people would kill a bull and offered as atonement for sin offering. And you shall offer a bull every day as a sin offering for atonement. You shall cleanse the altar when you make atonement for it, and you shall anoint it to sanctify it (Exodus 29:36). For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin (Hebrews 10:18). Our God so much love the World that He gave Jesus Christ as a Lamb Who was offered as a sacrifice on the Cross and forever more. So, when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit (John 19:30).
Today we remember the death of Jesus Christ. In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7).
Jesus Christ was an expression of the Love of God and He took the consequences of sins away for the sake of anyone who will receive Him by faith.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous (Romans 5:19).

But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 1:30-31).
You will not miss the Love and mercy of the Lord over your life, His blessing, success, and progress shall be evident in your life in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.
