Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 8 of 30 days of the month of September, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Light of God’ – The glory of God.
Adam fell in the Garden of Eden and lost the glory of the Lord. This shows how important the glory of the Lord. Job in the mist of his trouble realised and said: He has stripped me of my glory and taken the crown from my head (Job 19:9).
Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle (Exodus 40:34).
The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel (Exodus 24:17). And the priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord’s house (2 Chronicles 7:2). Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You (John 17:1).
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord (2 Corinthians 3:18).
I pray with you that in any area of your life where you need manifestation of God, may the Lord arise with His glory and mercy and bring you manifestation in the name of Jesus Christ.
