Your Devotional message for 6th April, 2023.
Scripture:
“Therefore you shall keep My commandments and perform them: I am the Lord (Leviticus 22:31).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 06 of the 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Love of God’ – The Greatest commandment.
Our God in His sovereignty made commandment for His people. The old commandment requires that the persons obey, and disobedience thus would requires sin offering by a Priest. These are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses for the children of Israel on Mount Sinai ( Leviticus 27:34).
The scripture says that For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel (John 5:20). You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear Him and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him (Deuteronomy 13:4).
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”(Matthew 22:36-40).
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends (John 15:13).

If you sin unintentionally, and do not observe all these commandments which the Lord has spoken to Moses— all that the Lord has commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day the Lord gave commandment and onward throughout your generations (Number 15:22-24).
You will not miss the Love and mercy of the Lord over your life, His blessing, success, and progress shall be evident in your life in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.
