The Holy Spirit is Our Helper
The Holy Spirit is Our Helper

Your Devotional Message for 6th November

Scripture:
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1: 8).

Explanation:

We will take another quantum leap in our Daily Meditation today, day 6 of 30 days of our new series called living ‘the Higher spiritual life in Christ Jesus’ in which we have been call to. We explore further by meditating on the Holy Spirit as Our Helperto attain the Higher spiritual dimension life in Christ Jesus. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever (John 14:16). It is impossible to live a higher dimension of life without the Holy Spirit.Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works (John 14:10).Jesus testified that the Holy Spirit does the works.

The Holy Spirit is the source of the anointing or power of God that does the great works of God. But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8 NKJV). At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came down upon the disciples. Then there appeared to them [divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each ofthem. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 2:3-4). The Holy Spirit is a person of the Triune of God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. You must be baptised with Holy Spirit. In addition, you must be full of faith and be  filled with Holy Spirit.

Here are a few other examples of the  scriptures expounding on Higher Spiritual life in Christ Jesus: And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people (Acts 6:8).

Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?

Today, let me challenge you that the Jesus Christ has paid the price and wants you to be his disciple. If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus,  do so today by repenting  from all your sins and accept  Him as Your Lord and saviour.

Thanks be to God for His fullness,  grace and His victory. Glory be to God!In the Month of November 2021, do not miss any day as  we  meditate on ‘Higher Spiritual life in Christ’

Faith Confession of the Month:

Our Father, thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural ability at work in me. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the spirit through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have the  glory of God. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes, and other spiritual senses are exercised for His divine revelations.

It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4).Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healing, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my  Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance  and victory  are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!

Further Reading scriptures to meditate:
Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? (Galatians 3:5).
