Manifestation of the glory Part 3
Manifestation of the glory Part 3

Your Devotional message for 5th July 2021

Scripture:
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you (Isaiah 60:2).

Explanation:
It will be an amazing scene whenever a place, city, territory, or a nation experiences a visitation of the glory. This is still possible today. In our day 5 of 31 days of the Daily Meditation on the theme basking in the Glory of God, we will look further at other instances when the glory of the Lord appeared in the Scriptures. These are written for our examples:
Protection: The place of glory will be a covering by the Lord, a tabernacle for shade, refuge, and shelter (Isaiah 4:5-6).
Prosperity and Light:

Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you (Isaiah 60:1).
At the birth of Jesus Christ: An Angel of the Lord visited country shepherds to bring them good tidings that a Savior, who is Christ was born, and the glory of the Lord came upon them. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid (Luke 2:9).
Jesus’s Ministry:
At transfiguration
– Jesus Christ took Peter, John, and James and went up on the mountain to pray and they Jesus transfigured as they saw the glory of the Lord and disciples were afraid (Luke 928-36).
The great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders:
Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them (Matthew 4:24).
“Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know (Acts 2:22).
In the raising the dead: When Jesus was told about Lazarus’s death:
When Jesus heard that, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” (John 11:4).
At Pentecost:
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting (Acts 2:2).

Say I am a carrier of the glory of God. Study and meditate on the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit often. Expect and ask God to manifest His Glory and the Angelic ministration.
Thanks be to God for His glory.
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of July 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘Basking in the glory of God’
Faith Confession for Power:
Thank you, Lord for the Spirit of the Lord is at work in me. Let the sight of the glory of the Lord be as  a consuming fire around my life that make my adversaries to flee.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will  not be with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority and power to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me. Therefore, I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I operate in the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth like Fire and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the power and the glory of God.
I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Prosperity and success are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Further Reading scriptures to meditate:
And Stephen, full of [b]faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people (Acts 6:8).
