Your Devotional Message for 5th December
Scripture:
Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high” (Luke 24:49).
Explanation:
Today is day 5 of 30 days on our new series called ‘Victory in Christ Jesus’ throughout the month.The purpose of this series is to gain and apply the knowledge of the Victory purchasedby the blood of Jesus.But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). In today Daily Meditation, we will meditate on scriptures on the victory in Christ Jesus through the Power of His resurrection.
Many Christians desire to see the demonstration of miraculous but are yet endued with power from on high. You must grasp the significant of the power of the Holy Spirit in the walk of Christian life to experience this dimension of glory. Power is the ability to cause a change or capacity to do something. The disciples of Jesus had to wait in Jerusalem for this power from on high until the day of Pentecost.Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high” (Luke 24:49).This power is required to see the triumph over challenges of life named it – deliverance from infirmities, captivity, bondages, afflictions and death. Many of these challenging situations are orchestrated as evil and wickedness from darkness of this World and will not shift except by the Power of God for freedom and deliverance.
The presence and the power of the Holy Spirit brings manifestation of the Acts and Works of God through the Anointing. Such is the victory through battles of life that you might be facing. Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26).
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you(Romans 8:11). Jesus Christ demonstrated the Power of the Holy Ghost in His Ministry in healing the sicks and setting people free from afflictions and bondages. The power of the Holy Spirit must be enforced on challenges of life by taking the step of faith. This was exactly the case when the multitudes saw this power demonstrated as he healed the Paralytic, they marvelled and glorified God, who had given such power to men (Matthew 9:8).
Here are other examples of the scriptureson the Power of His:
The Holy Spirit is the Power that heals the sicks, works miracles, signs, and wonders.
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8, NKJV).
And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all (Acts 4:33).
Power for Healings for all kinds of sickness and all kinds of diseases: And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of diseases (Matthew 10:1).
Power for deliverance: Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19, NKJV).
Following your salvation, you must continue to seek the presence, power, and the glory of God in prayer so that you may be empowered by the Holy Ghost you like Christ Jesus.
I pray that you will enjoy Divine health and healings as part of the Covenant with God.

Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural ability at work in me. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the spirit through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victory every day of my life.
I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
