Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 31 of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The great promises of God’ – Thanksgiving.
We round up this series today as we give thanksgiving to our God for all that he has done in our lives this month. Let us give thanks for his mercy and grace, provision, protection, and his miracles. Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever (Psalm 136:1).
Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! (1 Chronicles 16:8). Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms (Psalm 95:2).
For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chiefs of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving to God (Nehemiah 12:46).
I pray with you that in any area of your life where you need restoration, may the Lord arise with His mercy and bring you restoration in the name of Jesus Christ.
