Your Devotional Message for 30th December
Scripture:
Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house (Matthew 12:29).
Explanation:
It is very fascinating and audacious to read about Pharisees who saw Jesus Christ healing the sick raised accusation against Him that He cast out demons by Beelzebub. This was far from the Truth.
In today Daily Meditation, day 30 of 31 days we will do a final expose on our series called ‘Victory in Christ Jesus’ –Binding the strong man. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). We will meditate on scriptures instructing us on how to handle the strong man behind any situation.
We will explore the event that happened when they brought a male child who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and Jesus healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw. And all the multitudes were amazed and said, “Could this be the Son of David?”(Matthew 12:22-23). He was healing the sick by the Power of the Holy Spirit, however the Pharisees then accused Him of casting out demons using Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons. Jesus answered them to justify how to deal with situation under the influence of demonic spirit and said “But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house. He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad” (Matthew 12:28-29).
The power of Lord has been given to us through the Victory of Christover Satan to recover all that the Satan has stolen:Your possession, marriage, finance, and health. Further scriptures say:
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).
“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18).
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ has paid the price and wants you to be his disciple. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repenting from all your sins and accept Jesus Christas Your Lord and saviour.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!

Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural ability at work in me. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the spirit through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victoried every day of my life.
I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
