‘Open his eyes O Lord’
‘Open his eyes O Lord’

Scripture:
Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise and apply your heart to my knowledge;
For it is a pleasant thing if you keep them within you; Let them all be fixed upon your lips (Proverbs 22:17-18).
Explanation:
We will be rounding up this series shortly, but today day 30th of the 31 days of this series called ‘The Lord Spoke’ we will build on the essence of prayer and fasting to enhance this ability. God is instructing us as He says “Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise and apply your heart to my knowledge; For it is a pleasant thing if you keep them within you; Let them all be fixed upon your lips (Proverbs 22:17-18).
God is ever wanting to speak to His righteous people. However, this requires a price to fast and pray. Jesus spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart (Luke 18:1). However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21).
When the King of Syria was making war against Israel, the servant of Elisha was afraid as he saw an army surrounding the city with horses and chariots. He asked “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” So, he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. So, when the Syrians came down to him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, and said, “Strike this people, I pray, with blindness.” And He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha (2 Kings 6:16-18).
Here are a few other examples of the scriptures expounding on Hearing from God – By prayer:
Paul’s prayer to the Ephesians church:
 “Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,  do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him” (Ephesians 1:15-17).
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today by repenting from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.
Thanks be to God for His fullness, grace and His victory. Glory be to God!
In the Month of November 2021, do not miss any day as we will be meditating on ‘Higher Spiritual life in Christ’
Faith Confession for Grace and Power:
Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner. Lord show me Your glory. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes, and other spiritual senses are opened to His divine revelations.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
