And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years” (Genesis 6:3).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 3 of 30 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Lord of Lords’’ – By His Spirit
We will explore that the Spirit of God works the work of the Lord. This understanding is paramount to know that God is triune. The Holy Spirit does the works of God. However, He does not strive with man, except by invitation to act through prayer. And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years” (Genesis 6:3).
The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters (Genesis 1:2)
So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts (Zechariah 4:6).
“Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen, My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased! I will put My Spirit upon Him, And He will declare justice to the Gentiles (Matthew 12:18).
