Biblical text:
But there was no one like Ahab who sold himself to do wickedness in the sight of the Lord, because Jezebel his wife stirred him up (1 Kings 21:25)

Explanation:

Daily Meditation, day 29 of 31 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘‘The Power of God’’ – Power against wickedness.

Wickedness is an evil nature of the heart and propagated by the devil or demon influencing the heart or mind of a man. The propensity to carry out wicked acts without any justification is not a new thing but has existed from ages.

But there was no one like Ahab who sold himself to do wickedness in the sight of the Lord, because Jezebel his wife stirred him up (1 Kings 21:25).

Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart (Genesis 6:5-6).

Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles (Acts 2:43).

And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease (Matthew 10:1).

Further Scriptures:
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life (John 6:63).
