Your Devotional message for 29th Jan 2021
Scripture:
So, David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all” (1 Samuel 30:8).
Explanation:
Do you realise that spiritual things are invisible to your natural eyes? Demonic soul robbers exist and are invisible. Their operation is even worsethan armed robbers as they operate subtly over their preys.
In today Daily Meditation, day 29 of 31 days we will meditate on the scriptures relating toour new series the Keys for success in 2022’-Pursue, overtake and recover all.
The devil and his cohort of darkness are spiritual thieve that can steal or rob you of your possession. Jesus said that the thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (John 10:10).
We will meditate on scriptures instructing us to pursue, overtake and recover all that enemies have stolen from us. Let us examine and explore the event that happened when the Amalekites invaded the South and Ziklag, attacked the city and burned it with fire and they carried the people of Israel captive. Then David and his men came to Ziklag and asked them to bring an ephod. “So, David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?” And the Lord answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all” (1 Samuel 30:8). David followed the prophetic instruction of God in faith. “So, David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all” (1 Samuel 30: 18-19).
There is an opportunity given to us to inquire of the Lord in prayer or use the Power of prophesy. Likewise, the power of Lord has been given to us through the Victory of Christ over Satan to pursue, overtake and recover all that the enemy has stolen: This could be your possession, marriage, finance, and health. The scriptures say:
For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,’ says the Lord, ‘Because they called you an outcast saying: “This is Zion; No one seeks her.” (Jeremiah 30:17)
Dealing with spiritual robbers requires prayers. You must pray and fast over any serious matter and command the power and their altars to be destroyed by Fire and rout out such spirit in the Name of Jesus Christ. Thank God that you shall recover stolen virtues and take over your possession.

Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another new year and a new day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for my salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, eternal life,and supernatural ability at work in me. I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom, knowledge and understanding; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the power through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victoried every day of my life.
I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Prayer Points:
1. Thank God that you shall recover stolen virtues and take over your possession.
2. Oh Lord, I am yours, let your Goshen anointing be poured upon my life. 3.Any power anointed to steal my glory or bury my inheritance be destroyed in the name of Jesus Christ.
