Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 29 of 30 days of the month of September, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Light of God’ – Manifestation
The men of God of the Old understand the significant of the lamp not only physically but spiritually. No wonder David in his psalm pray to God thus. For You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness (Psalm 18:28). There is no doubt that as we are children of light, we must ensure that our lamp has oil and is lit so as to walk in the light of God. One of the importance of the great light of God to others is that light not only brings revelation but also manifestation. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light (Ephesians 5:13).
There I will make the horn of David grow; I will prepare a lamp for My Anointed (Psalm 132:17). Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path (Psalm 119:105).
“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps (Matthew 25:1-4).
I pray with you that in any area of your life where you need manifestation of God, may the Lord arise with His light and mercy and bring you manifestation in the name of Jesus Christ.
