Your Devotional message for 29th November 2022
Scripture:
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them” (Acts 2:4).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 29of the 30 days of the month ofNovember, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series‘The Encounter with the Spirit’.
The Bible shows us that the disciples of Jesus Christ had encounters with the Spirit of God at the day of Pentecost that changed them forever. They were identified with Christ as they did what Christ did and there emerged the name Christ-like at Antioch as Christians. Today we will continue our daily meditation (DM) on encounters with the Spirit of the Lord. Most importantly meditating onthe Mighty works of the Spirit of God in the life of the Apostles.
“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them” (Acts 2:1-4).
Their encounter caused bewilderment:
Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”
Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”(Acts 2:12-13).
The lame man at Beautiful gate:
Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong (Acts 3:6-7).

With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all (Acts 4:33).

This month I shall have an encounter with the Spirit of Lord that will catapult me into my ordained destiny.I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
