Your Devotional message for 29th April 2021
Scripture:
And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease (Matthew 10:1, NKJV).
Explanation:
Recent reports have shown that there is an improvement of longevity and quality of life. Thanks be to God for the wisdom giving to doctors and medical scientists who are working hard laboriously to provide treatment to patients. However, majority of people are now living with increasing prevalence of chronic diseases. Much has been advocated around selfcare. The emergence of COVID-19 is an eye opener also that we are not always in control of the nature. This had made people who are vulnerable from chronic diseases to be at disadvantage in the communities Also, in my understanding, there is a slight difference between, treatment, cure and healing. Although, treatment and cure for diseases are interchangeably used among healthcare professionals but not as much as healing, which is only used with regards to wounds. There is limitation to cure despite treatment a large proportion of diseases. The purpose of today’s Daily meditation is to expound our readers’ understanding of Divine health and healings for anyone who might desire such using the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit.
Many years ago, I became curious to research if Divine healing is still in existence until I came across Healing testimonies on a Christian channel. I saw people giving testimonies. I decided to find out what make the man of God be able to do so. My personal experience was sharpened after I received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire. I began to pray for people, and I saw the Holy Spirit confirming the Words with Healings and miracles.
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed (Psalm 53:5, NKJV). When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses” (Matthew 8:16-17, NKJV).
When Jesus called His Disciples, He gave them Power to heal the sick. The responsibility of healing the sick has been given to His disciples to do but with Faith and Power of the Holy Spirit. You need Power to heal the sick. See what the Lord Jesus did: And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease (Matthew 10:1, NKJV).
Jesus Christ ministered under the anointing that was upon Him and that caused Him to heal multitude.
The Life of God was in Him.
His Word was full of Power and Authority.
He was casting out demons.
For God was with Him
He was periodically engaging in prayer and fasting.
To have the ability to heal the sick, you need to receive Christ Jesus as your Lord and savior. You require the baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire.
The most common ways that most people do is to pray for the sick. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover (Mark 16:17-18). Within this scripture we can found cast out demons in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth and laying on of Hands on the sick.
The book of James 5: 14-16 also highlighted the importance of these steps that constitute Prayer of Faith. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
In conclusion in working the great works, you must believe in God and have receive Christ.
You must walk in the glory of God and engage periodically in Prayer and fasting.
You must pray to God to release His Angelic assistance for the Ministry of the Angels.
May the Lord grant you the grace to pray for the sick and to receiving healings.

Lord grant me the grace so that the Holy Spirit may bring forth the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit as the Spirit give permission. The word of God is in my mouth. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, it is piercing even to the division of my soul and spirit, and of my joints and marrow, and is a discerner of my thoughts and intents of the heart.
I prosper in all my ways and have good success daily, monthly and all years to the Glory of God in the name of Jesus. My body is healthy and strong. I refuse sickness, diseases, and evils of this world. I exercise my dominion over devil and the cohorts of darkness. From today I declare my victory and protection in the name of Jesus.
