Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 28 of 31 days of the month of January, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Thy Kingdom come’ – Through prayers and fasting.
In today’s Daily Meditation we will discuss and meditate on the scriptures that relates to our chosen topic for today ‘Through prayers and fasting.’
Jesus Christ thought His disciples the Model of prayer while they want to know how to prayer effectively. As the sons of the Kingdom of God, it is important to give yourself to prayer if you want to see His Kingdom come to your life, church gathering and nations. This is paramount not only now but in the future.
Jesus Christ thought the disciples the Model Prayer. In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors (Matthew 6:9 – 12).
In the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes (Daniel 9:2-3).
May you receive the power and the supernatural grace of God that will make you to reign in life in the name of Jesus.
