Your Devotional Message for 27th October
Scripture:
For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:8)
Explanation:
We will continue today, day 28 of the 31 days of this series called ‘The Lord Spoke’. We will gain further understanding of the other ways by which the Lord speaks to His people leading to us ‘hearing the Voice of God’, more importantly by the gift of the Word of wisdom. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit” (1 Corinthians 12:4-8). A word of wisdom is a supernatural revelation of information wherein there is application of the knowledge of God.
Jesus operated with this prophetic gift of revelation for instance during His Triumphant entry and Jesus instructed and sent two disciples to go to a village ahead to find a donkey tied there and bring it to him. “The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road” ( Matthew 21:6-8).

Example of Cornelius’s vision:
One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, “Cornelius!” Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked. The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. Now send men to Joppa to bring back a man named Simon who is called Peter. 6 He is staying with Simon the tanner, whose house is by the sea.”(Acts 10: 3-6).
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today by repenting from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.

Faith Confession for Grace and Power:
Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner. Lord show me Your glory. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes, and other spiritual senses are opened to His divine revelations.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
