Your Devotional message for 27th January 2023
Scripture:
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayst prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospered (3 John 2).
Explanation:
The World is going through health and healthcare crisis. You must be aware of the grace of God brought through Jesus Christ that you can live a life of sound health and healing. This grace gives you the ability to function in the capacity that God has set for you in this year in your physical, mental, and spiritual health. This requires knowledge of His grace and the word of God. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospered (3 John 2).
In this year, you must learn to enforce your right to live a healthy life by nurturing your body, soul and spirit with the Word of God and learn how to grow in authority over demonic spirits, evil and wickedness in this World. You must appropriate the mercy of God against all appearance of evil. As you walk in the glory of the Lord, the Holy Spirit willreveal His counsel about the Promises of God, His plans, guidance, direction, instructions,and enlightenment.
In today Daily Meditation, day 28of the 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on these scriptures relating to our new series ‘The counsel of the Lord’.
But He was wounded for our transgressions,He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,And by His stripeswe are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
My son, give attention to my words;Incline your ear to my sayings.Do not let them depart from your eyes;Keep them in the midst of your heart;For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22).

When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:“He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses”(Matthew 8:16-17).
I pray that His mercy and grace will preserve you and keep you in the name of Jesus. You will walk in the counsel of the Lord for your life.I pray for you that in this year the Lord shall bring to you revelation of His counsel, favour, mercy, blessing, success, and progress in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.
