The glory is your rare guard
The glory is your rare guard

Your Devotional message for 28th July 2021

Scripture:
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head (Psalms 3:3).
Explanation:
Today is day 28 of 31 days of the Daily Meditation on the theme ‘basking in the Glory of God’ and we will understand another key importance of the glory of God as your rear guard in your life as a believer. God has many armors and arsenals to guard and protect His Children. For instance, David wrote that “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head” (Psalms 3:3). He is God that is called the Jehovah Shammah – The Lord Is There. God is the Jehovah Sabaoth – The Lord Of Hosts.
The Glory of God is the nature of God, where the fullness, the presence, His power, the blessings, and the supernatural manifestations are available at the will of God, but not at the will of anyone else.
Have you faced with any insurmountable oppression or affliction by enemy (Satan) through his evil and wicked scheme? Have you ever cried out and be disturbed and frightened by the number and the power of evil to want to swallow you and thinking that you will be defeated? If you are born again, Christ is in you.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Be consciousness of the fact that you can only run to God and no where else knowing that the God that answers by Fire is the Glory of your life. David in Psalms 3:1-3 wrote:
Lord, how they have increased who trouble me!
Many are they who rise up against me.
2 Many are they who say of me,
“There is no help for him in God.” Selah
3 But You, O Lord, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head.
4 I cried to the Lord with my voice,
And He heard me from His holy hill. Selah
5 I lay down and slept;
I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people
Who have set themselves against me all around.
7 Arise, O Lord;
Save me, O my God!
For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone;
You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.
8 Salvation belongs to the Lord.
Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah
(Psalms 3:1-end).
I pray that you will experience the glory of the Lord. May you operate in the great Power of God and that the glory of God will be your rear guard and that a greater latter glory will be our portion in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Glory be to God!
Say I am a carrier of the glory of God. Study and meditate on the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit often. Expect and ask God to manifest His Glory and the Angelic ministration.
Thanks be to God for His glory.
Stay tune as we shall continue further tomorrow. Remain uncommonly blessed.
In the Month of July 2021, do not miss any day as we will be exploring ‘Basking in the glory of God’

Faith Confession for Power:
Thank you, Lord for the Spirit of the Lord is at work in me. Let the sight of the glory of the Lord be as  a consuming fire around my life that make my adversaries to flee.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will  not be with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority and power to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me. Therefore, I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. I operate in the great Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth like Fire and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the power and the glory of God.
I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Prosperity and success are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Further Reading scriptures to meditate:
Arise, shine; for your light has come! and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you (Isaiah 60:1).
