Your Devotional Message for 28th December
Scripture:
Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise (Isaiah 60:18).
Explanation:
We are gradually rounding up this series this month as we explore another important aspect of the topic. In today Daily Meditation, day 28 of 30 days we will do a further expose on our new series called ‘Victory in Christ Jesus’ – Over wasting or destruction. The purpose of this series is to gain and apply the knowledge of the Victory purchased by the Lord Jesus Christ.But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). We will meditate on scriptures on the victory in Christ – Over wasting or destruction.
One of such examples of wasting is when you experience stagnation. When you observe certain issues of life that people go through, you can discern that they are works of evil and wickedness existing right from the genesis of falls of men. That is why for instance the scripture about the wicked, “their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths (Isaiah 59:7).One thing is certain as the glory of the Lord come upon your land, those evil activities must be rout out. The scripture says that “Violence shall no longer be heard in your land, neither wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise” (Isaiah 60:18).

The parable of the prodigal son given by the Lord Jesus Christ is an example of someone who wasted his possessions as a result of prodigal living.
And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living (Luke 15:13)..
In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.
Dealing with wasting and destruction requires intercession. You must pray and fast over a serious matter and command the power to be destroy and rout out such spirit using the Name of Jesus Christ. Thank God that the challenge is over.

Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ has paid the price and wants you to be his disciple. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repenting from all your sins and accept Jesus Christas Your Lord and saviour.

Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural ability at work in me. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the spirit through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victoried every day of my life.
I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
