Your Devotional Message for 28th November
Scripture:
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:18, NKJV).
Explanation:
Why is it necessary to pray? Why do God doesn’t do all things automatically if He is God? Someone asked! Prayer is transcending between the physical and spiritual realms. It is not only a form of communication, but an avenue of rapport by asking God to act in this earth. Therefore, you must learn the act of prayers to expect God to act as a believer.
Well, stay tune as we discuss and meditate on prayers as a lifestyle of a believer who desires to live a Higher Spiritual Life in Christ Jesus.
We will continue our Daily Meditation today, day 28 of 30 days of our series called living ‘the Higher spiritual life in Christ Jesus’ in which we have been called. We will meditate on scriptures that pertain topraying all prayers and supplication.
This is very crucial to access the realm of Power of God, to be equipped as a soldier of Christ, and to combat all the devices of darkness, evil and wickedness that enemies used contrary to God’s will against you.Jesus Christ spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart (Luke 18:1).
As I learned through the Scripture, Jesus Christ was not only spending time to teach, heal, and deliver but spending time to pray in his closet. He was full of the fullness of God – faith, grace, and the power of the Holy Ghost.
There are different kinds of prayers, but let us examine scriptures on a few that would help with effectiveness of your spiritual life:
The Prayer of thanksgiving:
And Jesus lifted His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me (John 11:41).
Praying in Tongues:
He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church
(1 Corinthians 14:4). Spending ample time praying in tongues will edify your spirit and allows direct communication with God in the spirit.
The Prayer of faith:
Prayer of faith is a form of prayer based on faith using the Word of God to pray for a sick by the elders or a believer. And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13).
Deliverance and casting out devils (demons):
And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease (Matthew 10:1).
Prayer of intercessions and spiritual warfare:
Therefore, I exhort first that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. (1 Timothy 2:1-3, NKJV).
The Name of Jesus Christ is to be used for this authority:
Therefore, God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name, which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11,NKJV).
Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?
Today, let me challenge you that Jesus Christ has paid the price and wants you to be his disciple. If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus, do so today by repenting from all your sins and accept Him as Your Lord and saviour.

Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural ability at work in me. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the spirit through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have the glory of God. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes,and other spiritual senses are exercised for His divine revelations.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4).Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
