Your Devotional message for 27th January 2023
Scripture:
That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:7).
Explanation:
The grace of God is required to drive us through the year 2023. Grace gives you the ability to function in the capacity that God has set for you in this year. The Apostles of Jesus Christ enjoyed so much great grace of Christ that it was written that “and with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all” (Acts 4:33). No wonder Paul prayed for the Ephesians in the Epistle “that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:7).
In this year, you must ask, the Holy Spirit to grant to you the exceeding riches of His grace. As you walk in the glory of the Lord, the Holy Spirit will reveal His counsel about the Promises of God, His plans, guidance, direction, instructions, and enlightenment.
In today Daily Meditation, day 27 of the 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on these scriptures relating to our new series ‘The counsel of the Lord’.
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what the hope of His calling is, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17-18).
That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man (Ephesians 3:16).
Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! (Romans 11:33).

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).
I pray that His mercy and grace will preserve you and keep you in the name of Jesus. You will walk in the counsel of the Lord for your life. I pray for you that in this year the Lord shall bring to you revelation of His counsel, favour, mercy, blessing, success, and progress in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.

This month Our God, the Great Counsellor shall manifest His glory in your life in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
