Your Devotional message for 27th February 2023
Scripture:
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day (Psalm 91:5)
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 27 of the 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Lord of Hosts’ – Our defence against arrow.
The Lord of Hosts does valiantly to deliver His people from demonic arrows, Likewise the Lord can defend or deliver you from any demonic arrow of the enemy. Arrow is a spiritual weapon and often with intention to kill, to seal or destroy human life. For instance, there are evil arrow of infirmity, Arrow of destruction, arrow of failure and arrow of poverty. Christ Jesus is our defence. I pray that as you are righteous, the Lord shall deliver you from any evil arrow in the name of Jesus.
David wrote in the book of Psalms: For look! the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow on the string, that they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart. If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?(Psalm 11:2-3).
Surely, He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day (Psalm 91:3-5).
As you plead for the Lord in the face of unrepentant adversaries and apply this wisdom in your spiritual warfare, you will see with your eyes: “How the mighty have fallen, and the weapons of war perished!” (2 Samuel 1:27).
May His presence bring His deliverance, healings, His glory, His power, His works and Acts, His Word and Peace.

Their tongue is an arrow shot out; It speaks deceit; One speaks peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in his heart, he lies in wait (Jeremiah 9:8).
Flash forth lightning and scatter them; Shoot out Your arrows and destroy them (Psalm 144:6).
I pray for you that in this year the Lord shall bring to you revelation of His counsel, favour, mercy, blessing, success, and progress in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.
