Scripture:
The word of the Lord came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the River Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was upon him there (Ezekiel 1:3).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 26 of 31 days of the month of March we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The Lord, the Revealer of the secrets’. –
Through Ezekiel
We continue this subject of ‘The Lord, the Revealer of the secrets’ and today we will meditate on a few Prophet Ezekiel’s encounters with the Spirit of the Lord for our learning.
On the fifth day of the month, which was in the fifth year of King Jehoiachin’s captivity, the word of the Lord came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the River Chebar; and the hand of the Lord was upon him there (Ezekiel 1:2-4).
Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me a great thunderous voice: “Blessed is the glory of the Lord from His place!” I also heard the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels beside them, and a great thunderous noise (Ezekiel 3:12-13).
And He said to me: “Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity and give wicked counsel in this city, who say, ‘The time is not near to build houses; this city is the caldron, and we are the meat.’ Therefore, prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man!” (Ezekiel 11:2-4).
May you receive the revelation knowledge of God that brings the prosperity of God that will make you distinguished in life in the name of Jesus. We will pray to our God for his protection, provision, guidance, mercy, and grace.
