Your Devotional message for 26th January 2023
Scripture:
When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation (Proverbs 10:25).
Explanation:
It is extremely true that the mercy of God has a two-edge sword of favour and judgement.
The judgement of God is certain for the wicked who continually brings to past his or her evil scheme. As a righteous, you are privileged to demand justice from the God, Who is the Ancient of day or the Lion of Judah. The Lord of Hosts has never lost any battle to the devil. For instance, the scripture is written that “when the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation” (Proverbs 10:25).
In this year, you must ask, the Holy Spirit to protect you from every appearance of evil scheme and wickedness. As you walk in the glory of the Lord, the Holy Spirit will reveal His counsel about the Promises of God, His plans, guidance, direction, instructions, and enlightenment.
In today Daily Meditation, day 26 of the 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on these scriptures relating to our new series ‘The counsel of the Lord’.
The Lord is known by the judgment He executes; the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah (Psalm 9:16).
He shall judge the world in righteousness, and He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness (Psalm 9:8).
Be afraid of the sword for yourselves; for wrath brings the punishment of the sword, that you may know there is a judgment”(Job 19:29).

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand, to execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; to execute on them the written judgment – This honour have all His saints. Praise the Lord! (Psalm 149:6-9).
I pray that His mercy and grace will preserve you and keep you in the name of Jesus. You will walk in the counsel of the Lord for your life. I pray for you that in this year the Lord shall bring to you revelation of His counsel, favour, mercy, blessing, success, and progress in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.

This month Our God, the Great Counsellor shall manifest His glory in your life in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
