Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 26 of 31 days of the month of December, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Arise and shine’.
Merry Christmas once again!!!
In today’s Daily Meditation we will discuss and meditate on ‘Arise and shine’ – O Lord of vengeance arise.
While the Lord is a God of righteousness, He is a God of Justice. While the Lord is a God of mercy, he is also a God of vengeance. This is a personality of God that many fail to comprehend. Jesus Christ gave analogy of this through a parable regarding the persistent widow who continually go to the Judge to seek justice from her adversary in Luke 18 and was granted her desire.
The Psalmist wrote thus: O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongs – O God, to whom vengeance belongs, shine forth! Rise up, O Judge of the earth; Render punishment to the proud. Lord, how long will the wicked, How long will the wicked triumph? (Psalm 94:1-3).
God has given the righteous the right to avenge of the enemy and to execute judgement on wickedness.
To execute vengeance on the nations, and punishments on the peoples; To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute on them the written judgment. This honour have all His saints (Psalm 149:7-9).
May you receive the power and the favour of God that will make you to reign in life in the name of Jesus.

O Lord, You know; Remember me and visit me, and take vengeance for me on my persecutors. In Your enduring patience, do not take me away. Know that for Your sake I have suffered rebuke (Jeremiah 15:15).
I pray with you today, may you experience the glory of God that brings supernatural manifestation of healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
