Your Devotional message for 26th June, 2023.
Scripture:
But you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images (Exodus 34:13)
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 26 of the 30 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The God that answers prayers’ –
Destroy their evil altars.
Demonic altars and idols are abomination to the Lord not just in the Old Testament era but even now a day. In our generation, we see how negatively those altars affect the lives of people at the expense of the owners trying to seek demonic powers for gain.Example of an evil King in the Bible is King Manasseh. And he did evil in the sight of the Lord, according to the abominations of the nations whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel (2 Kings 21:2). Similarly, the people of Israel provoke the anger of God: A people who provoke Me to anger continually to My face; Who sacrifice in gardens, And burn incense on altars of brick (Isaiah 65:3).
As a believer we do not need physical method to destroy evil altars as we ask God to set them ablaze on Fire,as evil altars must be destroyed by prayers.
But you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images (Exodus 34:13).
I will destroy your high places, cut down your incense altars, and cast your carcasses on the lifeless forms of your idols; and My soul shall abhor you (Leviticus 26:30).
I pray with you today that as you are reading this daily meditation, the Fire of God will surge through you and deliver you from all evil works in the name of Jesus.

And you shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land; you shall tear down their altars.’ But you have not obeyed My voice. Why have you done this? (Judges 2:2)

Today, let me encourage you that Jesus Christ came for your salvation and to give you freely Eternal life. If you are yet to receive Christ, do so today by repentance from all your sins and confess Jesus Christ as Your Lord and saviour.
I pray with you today, may you experience a supernatural manifestation of healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
