Scripture: I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets (Hosea 12:10, KJV).

Explanation:

We will  continue today, day 25 of the 31 days of this series called ‘The Lord Spoke’. We will gain further understanding of the other ways by which the Lord speaks to His people leading tous ‘hearing the Voice of God’, more importantly by a Seer or the Prophet of God.God says in the scripture that: “I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets” (Hosea 12:10, KJV).

With regards to prophetic ministry, there is the gift of prophecy, the spirit of prophecy, Ministry of a prophet and office of a prophet. There are not many differences between a seer or a prophet. However, (Formerly in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he spoke thus: “Come, let us go to the seer”; for he who is now called a prophet was formerly called a seer). And God Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers (Ephesians 4:11). God Himself called and raised people to be prophets. The Ministry of a Prophet is an indispensable ministry in the church, Society and Nations even today. This is because  ‘by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved’ (Hosea 12:13). In addition, but he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men (1 Corinthians 14:3).

Here are a few other examples of the scriptures expounding on Hearing from God –  By a Seer or the Prophet of God:

Example by Prophets at Antioch: Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away (Acts 13:1-3).

Have you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour?

If you are yet to receive Christ Jesus,  do so today by repenting  from all your sins and make Him the Lord of your life.

Thanks be to God for His fullness,  grace and His victory. Glory be to God!In the Month of October 2021, do not miss any day as  we will be meditating on ‘When  the Lord Speaks’

Faith Confession for Grace and Power:

Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner. Lord show me Your glory. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes, and other spiritual senses are opened to His divine revelations.

It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my  Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God. I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance  and victory  are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!

Further Reading scriptures to meditate: But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled (Acts 3:18).
