Scripture:
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Genesis 1:28).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 25 of 31 days of the month of August, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The blessing of the Lord’ – Subdue the earth.
Through, the scripture, the responsibility to subdue the earth was giving to man by the Creator. The dominion mandate was one of the five elements of the blessing upon man. We learned that Adam was initially blessed as a creature of God and was giving the mandate to subdue the earth and the enemies that arise.
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” (Genesis 1:28).
Now the whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled together at Shiloh and set up the tabernacle of meeting there. And the land was subdued before them (Joshua 18:1).
For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose against me (2 Samuel 22:40).
For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me (Psalm 18:39).
May you receive a dumbfounding blessing and an open heaven in this month, an encounter that brings transformation and restoration in your life and you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
