Scripture:
Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
Explanation:
Often, many people think that deliverance is casting out demons (exorcism). Deliverance goes beyond that, as God has never stopped to stop the siege of darkness on His people. Life is a mystery for many. Life is spiritual. There are good and evil out there. As the year begins, life requires a continual intercession to annul the unfruitful works of darkness.
In today Daily Meditation, day 25 of 31 days we will meditate on the scriptures relating toour new series the Keys for success in 2022’-The Power for deliverance.
David wrote in Psalm 18 that “God delivers me from my enemies. You also lift me up above those who rise against me; You have delivered me from the violent man” (Psalm 18:48). The devil’s agenda holds on to his three-fold ministry – to steal, to kill and to destroy. Devil and his cohort of darkness fights against men capitalising on their Ignorance. The strategy of the devil is to make you believe that it is all issues of life is in your mind and devil does not exist. However, the scripture has clearly revealed that “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand (Ephesians 6: 12-13). These are hierarchy of demonic spirits that controls men’s life, territory and even rampaging effects on nation. There is clearly evil day.
What are examples of those things that require deliverance? Psalm 91 gives examples:
the snare of the fowler, perilous pestilence, terror by night, arrow of the day, Pestilence that walks in darkness, and destruction at noonday, bondage, wickedness, oppression, and affliction.
Therefore, that is why people need deliverance. The Holy Spirit does the work of God. God also uses or send Angels to deliver His servant.
The scripture cannot be broken that “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15-16). How do you redeem the time and the day from such schemes of the devil? For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled (2 Corinthians 10:3-6, NKJV).
Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7). We submit to God. We use the Word of God, with different prayers and fasting to resist the devil and demonic spirits. You must learn to take Authority delegated to His disciples by Jesus Christ over the demonic spirits behind any issue. You must cast him out with the Strong power of God that is greater than the demonic one.
In conclusion, know that whatever situation you are faced, it may look so terrible. Do not loose heart. For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:19, NKJV).

Faith Confession of the Month:
Our Father, thank you, for another new year and a new day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for my salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, eternal life,and supernatural ability at work in me. I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom, knowledge and understanding; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Partner. I operate in the Higher dimension of the power through the Word of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit. I have victoried every day of my life.
I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

1. Lord thank you for Yourredemption and resurrection power at work in me
2. Oh Lord, Arise and manifest your power for wealth through me. 3.Ibreak down every stronghold of poverty and failure in any area of my life.
