Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 25 of 30 days of the month of April we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Our God is a consuming fire’ – Against the strong man.
Jesus Christ used the word strong man after casting out the demonic spirit behind the demon-possessed mute and blind man to let us know the nature of these wicked spirit.
A strong man is solely responsible for many afflictions, sufferings, and bondages that many go through. People have reported strange attacks on their bodies and some with detrimental consequences.
But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you. Or how can one enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? And then he will plunder his house (Matthew 12:28-29).
When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace. But when a stronger than he comes upon him and overcomes him, he takes from him all his armour in which he trusted and divides his spoils (Luke 11:21-22).
May you receive the Fire of God that brings healings to your body, deliverance, and the prosperity of your soul so that you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
