Your Devotional message for 25th February 2023
Scripture:
The voice of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; the lightnings lit up the world; the earth trembled and shook (Psalm 77:18).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 25 of the 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Lord of Hosts’ – The whirlwind and the Lightning
The knowledge of the Lord of Hosts and His Sovereignty is vast that it is impossible for anyone to be apprehended. Similarly, most Christians will be familiar with the power of the Lord using the Name of Jesus Christ, the Blood of Jesus Christ, the Fire, and the Holy Spirit. However, it is possible to be less acquainted with His other spiritual weapons such as the Winds, the whirlwind and the Lightning. The voice of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; the lightnings lit up the world; the earth trembled and shook (Psalm 77:18).
These may have spiritual origin but may be accompanied with or without physical appearance. The scripture says that “the Lord is slow to anger and great in power and will not at all acquit the wicked. The Lord has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm, And the clouds are the dust of His feet (Nahum 1:3).
As you plead to the Lord in the face of unrepentant adversaries and apply this wisdom in your spiritual warfare, you will see with your eyes: “How the mighty have fallen, and the weapons of war perished!” (2 Samuel 1:27).
May His presence bring His deliverance, healings, His glory, His power, His works and Acts, His Word and Peace.

Then the Lord will be seen over them, and His arrow will go forth like lightning. The Lord God will blow the trumpet and go with whirlwinds from the south (Zechariah 9:14).
But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour its palaces, amid shouting in the day of battle, and a tempest in the day of the whirlwind ( Amos 1:14).

I pray for you that in this year the Lord shall bring to you revelation of His counsel, favour, mercy, blessing, success, and progress in the name of Jesus. Glory be to God.

Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). Prosperity is mine.
This month Our God, the Great Counsellor shall manifest His glory in your life in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
