Your Devotional message for 24th August 2022
Scripture:
And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed, the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before (Job 42:10).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 24 of the 31 days of the month of July, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series‘The exceedingly great promise of God’ –Restoration.
Today we will meditate upon another exceedingly great promise of God to His people saying He will restore to you years and good treasures the enemy has stolen from you.
The great enemies of God’s people are ignorance to understand the will of God, the sinful nature (iniquity) and the enemy in operation to fight what have been given to them by God.
The story of Job, a fervent and righteous man, lost most things including wealth. In today, society without God it is possible to have committed suicide. In the latter year, Job believed God for his restoration and repented from any known sins. Then Job answered the Lord and said:“I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You (Job 42:1-2).And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed, the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before (Job 42:10).
God restored King Nebuchadnezzar after he was driven from men like oxen for seven years (Daniel 4:36).
Here are further scriptures onthis promise of restoration:
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you (Joel 2:25).
The Lamentation wrote: Why do You forget us forever,and forsake us for so long a time?Turn us back to You, O Lord, and we will be restored;Renew our days as of old,
Unless You have utterly rejected us,and are very angry with us! (Lamentation 5:20-22).

I have the Anointing therefore I prosper, I continue prospering, until I become very prosperous. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

and strength, honour, glory, and blessing.
3. We pray and agree for peace of God to reign in the Nations of Russia and Ukraine under war right now.
