Your Devotional message for 24th April, 2023.
Scripture:
For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 24 of the 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Love of God’ – The grace of God.
Whatever the Lord has given to us is an expression of His Love as a Father. We did not deserve it by measure of Law of God, but the grace of God. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17). The Father loves the World that he gave His only begotten Son – Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ shows us the love of the Father.
But the free gift, is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many (Romans 5:15).
I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain (Galatians 2:21). Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord (2 Peter 1:2).
Thanks be to God that He loves us so much that sent Jesus Christ for us that we may have access to His favour and blessing.
