Scripture:
Yet, Lord my God, give attention to your servant’s prayer and his plea for mercy. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence (2 Chronicles 6:19).

In today Daily Meditation, day 24 of 30 days of the month of November, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Lord of Lords’’ – Trust in the Lord
Several scriptures tell us that our God is a God of mercy, and He changes not as He showed mercy to David likewise to anyone who call upon His mercy today. Solomon prayed for mercy and likewise received mercy: Yet, Lord my God, give attention to your servant’s prayer and his plea for mercy. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence (2 Chronicles 6:19).
In the mist of a desperate situation, Daniel sought for the mercy of God:
Then Daniel went to his house, and made the decision known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions, that they might seek mercies from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So, Daniel blessed the God of heaven (Daniel 2:17-19).
