Your Devotional message for 24th February 2023
Scripture:
So, the angel who spoke with me said to me, “Proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “I am zealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with great zeal (Zechariah 1:14).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 24 of the 28 days of the month of February, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Lord of Hosts’ -The Angel of the Lord.
The activities and the roles of Angel as a servant or messenger of the Lord spans across the ages of old and New Testament.The Lord of Hosts is God of Heaven Who can send use His Angel to deliver a particular message. For instance,prophetZechariah wrote: So, the angel who spoke with me said to me, “Proclaim, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “I am zealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with great zeal (Zechariah 1:14).
Today’s Daily Meditation message is not to explain different class of Angels but meditation that brings Angelic encounter. Knowing the Word of God is very essential in this context.
As you plead for mercy of the Lord in face unrepentant adversaries and apply this wisdom in your confession and spiritual warfare, you will see with your eyes: “How the mighty have fallen, and the weapons of war perished!” (2 Samuel 1:27).
May His presence bring His deliverance, healings, His glory, His power, His works and Acts, His Word and Peace.
