But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison (Genesis 39:21).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 23 of 31 days of the month of May we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The grace of God’ – God’s grace called Favour.
There is the grace of God otherwise called Favour that will make you to receive what you are not qualify or entitle to receive based on the natural measures. This was the ability that came upon Joseph, whereas a prisoner in a Foreign land became a Prime Minister of Egypt during his time. But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison (Genesis 39:21).
The grace of God is the fullness of God is the totality of everything God is – His attributes, His character, His perfection, His power, His love and His holiness and His complete nature.
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8).
But as you abound in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us—see that you abound in this grace also (2 Corinthians 8:7).
May you receive the abundance of grace that brings forth healings to your body, deliverance, and the prosperity of your soul so that you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.
