Your Devotional message for 23rd August 2022
Scripture:
Therefore, say to the children of Israel: ‘I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments (Exodus 6:6).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 23 of the 31 days of the month of July, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series‘The exceedingly great promise of God’ –From bondage to Liberty.
Today we will meditate upon another exceedingly great promise of God to His people saying He will rescue you from their bondage and redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.
The children of Israel groaned and cried out to God because of the bondage of Egyptians. God heard their groaning and remembered His covenant. Therefore, say to the children of Israel: ‘I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments (Exodus 6:6).Despite the reluctance of the Egyptians to let go the Israelites, the Lord saved the people of Israel out of the hand of the Egyptians (Exodus 14).But the Egyptians mistreated us, afflicted us, and laid hard bondage on us (Deuteronomy 26:6).
Many are living in hard bondage, though a bondage may look like a physical issue but have often with spiritual root under the influence of a strong man (That is a demonic spirit).The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly (John 10:10).Identification of the source of such bondage is crucial for seeking the hand of the Lord for a deliverance and divine intervention of God.
Here are further scriptures onthis promise of liberty from bondage:
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”(Romans 8:15).
Because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God (Romans 8:21).

I have the Anointing therefore I prosper, I continue prospering, until I become very prosperous. I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
