Daily Meditation, day 23
of 31 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘The supernatural grace of God’ – Sufficient grace of the Lord.
Grace is available not only for salvation and healing but also grace is available to endure hardship or going through a moment of a life challenge.
This example of what Paul went through while writing the 2 Corinthians 12 when he had this issue of a thorn in the flesh by a messenger of Satan. My prayer is that may you receive grace and favour to rise today in every area of hinderance and disfavour.
And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me (2 Corinthians 12:7-9).
But as you abound in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us—see that you abound in this grace also (2 Corinthians 8:7).
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen (2 Corinthians 13:14).
