Your Devotional message for 23rd June 2022
Scripture:
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 23 of the 30 days of the month of June, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our series ‘The Realm of Faith’ – Victory through faith.
The victory of the believers is anchored not only upon the dead, crucifixion, burial, and resurrectionof Christ Jesus, but most importantly on the blood of Jesus Christ (The blood of the Lamb upon the Cross). But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).However, for avictory to occur there must be a fight or war. This is an invisible war called Spiritual warfare against the hosts of darkness which is Satan and his evil spirits. The devil has been defeated over two thousand years when Jesus Christ rose from dead by the Power of His resurrection.
The Bible tells us that “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).
We have already been given victory before any fightof the devil. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death” (Revelation 12:11).
Other examples of the scripture to steer your Victory through faith:
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-11).
Your responsibility is that you must put on the whole armour of God.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which, you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:14-18).

It is written, “And my speech and my preaching will not be with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I take authority over serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness. My life prospers, continued prospering, and I flourish in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Prayer Points:
1. Thanks be to God for the victory over the host of darkness by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
2. My Father as I pray, I decree and declare that I overcome every power of the enemies targeted against my advancement and speed of destiny in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. We pray and agree for peace of God to reign in the Nations of Russia and Ukraine under war right now.
