And even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire (Matthew 3:10).
Explanation:
Daily Meditation, day 23 of 30 days of the month of April, we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Our God – the Jehovah Rapha’ – Healings by the hands
It is interesting to know that just as soldiers have weapons to use so likewise God has made known to us several of his ammunition to use against the evil, wickedness and the works of darkness. Such weapon is the Ax of the Holy Ghost. It is used to uproot whatever the Lord has not planted that is growing in our life. The Ax is by the power of God. The power of His resurrection is the Highest power of God (Epikaizo).
And even now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire(Matthew 3:10 – 12).
Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them (Acts 19:11).
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover (Mark 16:17-18).
