Scripture:
‘Surely our adversaries are cut down, And the fire consumes their remnant.’ (Job 22:20).
Explanation:
In today Daily Meditation, day 23 of 30 days of the month of April we will study and meditate on the scriptures relating to our topic ‘Our God is a consuming fire’ – The Fire of God consumes.
When it comes to those who are called the adversaries, may not necessary be man or woman but the demonic spirit behind their operation. The Devil and his demonic spirit are solely responsible for many afflictions, sufferings, and bondages that many go through.
Here are the words of the Lord concerning such adversaries and how the Fire of God is the answer to them. ‘Surely our adversaries are cut down, And the fire consumes their remnant.’ (Job 22:20).
Let them be confounded and consumed Who are adversaries of my life; Let them be covered with reproach and dishonour Who seek my hurt ((Psalm 71:13).
Consume them in wrath, consume them, That they may not be And let them know that God rules in Jacob To the ends of the earth. Selah (Psalm 59:13).
Then the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah, from the Lord out of the heavens. So He overthrew those cities, all the plain, all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground (Genesis 19:24).
May you receive the Fire of God that brings healings to your body, deliverance, and the prosperity of your soul so that you will be distinguished in life in the name of Jesus.

Let us pray today: May you experience the fullness of God that brings supernatural manifestation of wisdom, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders in your life, marriage, finance, business, and family in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Glory be to God!
