Your Devotional Message for 22nd October
Scripture:
Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?”
And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree” (Jeremiah 1;11).
Explanation:
Often, God may speak to His people by prophetic symbols or pictures. We will continue today, day 22 of the 31 days of this series called ‘The Lord Spoke’. Today we will gain further understanding of the other ways by which the Lord speaks to his people leading to ‘hearing the Voice of God’, more importantly by prophetic symbols or pictures before the Voice of the Holy Spirit. The prophetic symbol or picture is a spiritual language subject to further interpretation often common among the Seers and the Prophets.
The scriptures highlighted how God spoke to Prophetic Jeremiah after His called into the Ministry. Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” and I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am [ready to perform My word.” (Jeremiah 1:11-12).
Most importantly the more you are filled with the Spirit of God, the more like the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to bring insight and revelations about the future.

Example of Prophet Jeremiah:
And the word of the Lord came to me the second time, saying, “What do you see?”
And I said, “I see a boiling pot, and it is facing away from the north.” Then the Lord said to me: “Out of the north calamity shall break forth on all the inhabitants of the land” (Jeremiah 1:13-14).
Prophet Ezekiel: The experience of Prophetic Ezekiel in Ezekiel chapter 37, when the Lord set him down amid the valley full of dry bones. His Ministry was proceeded by an opened heaven.
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the River Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God (Ezekiel 1:1).

Our Father, Thank you, for another day. I shall be glad and rejoice in You. Thank you for salvation, divine health, grace and glory, provision, protection, and supernatural enablement. And I declare boldly that I am aglow and strong in the spirit, filled with wisdom of God; and the grace of God is upon me (Luke 2:40). The Holy Spirit is my Senior Teacher and Partner. Lord show me Your glory. I declare that my spiritual ears, eyes, and other spiritual senses are opened to His divine revelations.
It is written, “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in the demonstration of the Spirit and of power” (1 Corinthians 2:4). Behold, I receive the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me (Luke 10:19). I operate with the great grace and Mighty Power of God for His great works – Healings, miracles and signs and wonders. The word of God is in my mouth and as I meditate, it permeates to the deep part of my Spirit, soul, and body. I am manifesting the great power of God.
I rule over Satan and his cohort of darkness with the Fire of the Holy Ghost. I prosper in my spirit, soul, and body. My life is flourishing in all areas of life as well as my health even as my soul prospers. Success, wealth, financial abundance and victory are mine in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Glory be to God!
